“BharatPe” is the trademark of Resilient Innovations Private Limited (“Company”), a company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at 3rd Floor Ramnath House Building, 18 Community Centre, Yusuf Sarai New Delhi - 110049, India.

RIPL is a company engaged in the business of payment facilitation engaged in the business of providing digital payment solutions through its universal QR code and POS machines to its users and/merchants. RIPL offers a wide variety of products such as QR code, swipe to its users and/or merchants (“Product”). In order to make its Product available to the end user/merchants, RIPL wishes to engage you (“BharatPe Captain”), an Individual, through the App, on independent contractor basis for performing and completion of the Tasks (“Services”) on the Terms contained herein.

This Privacy Policy governs how the Company and/or its affiliates (collectively, "we," and "us") process, use, collect, use, disclose, transfer, store, retain the BharatPe Captain’s (“you” and “your”) information when you use the BharatPe Captain application (“Application” and/or “Platform”).

Please note that by accessing the Platform you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy including but not limited to your consent for collecting, using, sharing and disclosing your information as per this Privacy Policy.

All users of the Platform are advised to read and understand our Privacy Policy carefully, as by accessing the Application you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy.

INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION AND ITS USE

We need to collect or receive information about you in order to enable your access to the Application and in order to perform the Services.

We collect two basic types of information from you in conjunction with your use of the Platform and the Service opted by you i.e. personal information, which is any information that exclusively identifies you (e.g., your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, bank account details and amongst others) and non-personal information, which is information that does not exclusively identify you but is related to you nonetheless such as, information about your interests, demographics and use of the sites.

We may collect or receive information about you and the devices you use to access the Application including but not limited to your:

Personal Information Your full name, a government issued identification, email address, mobile nu mber, mailing address, photograph, birthdate etc when you apply, use or sign-up to perform the Services.
Device Information Device Information Information about your device, including your hardware model, operating system and version, device name, unique device identifier, mobile network information, and information about the device’s interaction with the Platform.
Demographic Information Location and geo-location information may be collected from your device. If you do not consent to collection of this information, certain features of the Platform may not function properly. This information may also be used to verify your eligibility for a particular location and to align your performance of the Services with locations near you.
Others As may be explicitly required & and consented by you from time to time.


When you use our Platform, we collect and store certain information which is provided by you from time to time by explicitly seeking permissions from you to get the required information. Our primary goal in doing so is to provide you a safe, efficient, smooth and customized experience and services. This allows us to the features that meets your needs, and to customize our Platform and to make your experience safer and easier including to perform the Services. More importantly, we collect personal information from you that we consider necessary for achieving the aforementioned purpose.

To the extent possible, we provide you the option of not divulging any specific information that you wish for us not to collect, store or use. You may also choose not to use a particular feature of the Platform and to opt out of any non-essential communications from the Company. Some of the information we ask you to provide is identified as mandatory and some is identified as voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory information that is required it for the Platform or for you to perform the Services, you may not be permitted to perform the Services.

We only collect and use such information from you that we consider necessary for achieving a seamless, efficient and safe experience, customized to your needs and use the personal information to enhance the operation of the Platform, to enable you to perform the Services, improve our marketing and promotional efforts, analyse Platform use, to personalise your experience and to provide you a better experience.

Technical information

When you access the Platform, we may collect certain information from you that is non-personally identifiable in nature (for example – the type of browser you are using, your internet protocol address, your preferences on the Platform etc.) This information is used for purposes such as serving and rendering ads, personalizing ads, analysing our Platform flow, measuring our promotional effectiveness and improves your experience of the Platform as it allows us to enhance the Platform.

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

We collect and may also share certain necessary information to a number of different third parties as required for you to seamlessly access the Application and perform the Services.

Wherever access to a particular feature of the Application involves a third party, such information as is reasonably necessary by the Company to enable the feature for you may be shared with such third party. We may also engage with other companies/ persons to perform functions such as order fulfilment, delivering packages, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions.

Where possible, you shall have the option to restrict disclosure to third parties. However, where sharing of information to a particular third party is necessary for enabling you to perform the Services you shall not be able to decide to restrict such disclosure.

If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities on the Platform, we may collect and store such information for enabling you to perform Services through the Platform, for record keeping purposes.

We do not retain any information collected for any longer than is reasonably considered necessary by us, or such period as may be required by applicable laws. The Company may be required to disclose any information that is lawfully sought from it by a judicial or other competent body pursuant to applicable laws.

WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

You may withdraw your consent given for collecting any information and personally identifiable information that is stored with us, at any time by sending an email to support@bharatpe.com. Once you have withdrawn consent to use your personally identifiable information stored with us, we will stop actively processing your personally identifiable information but may store it for archival/record keeping purposes in compliance with applicable laws. In such an event, we reserve the right to not allow you further usage of our Platform or your ability to perform the Services without any obligations or liability, whatsoever, whether in contract, tort, law, equity or otherwise, in this regard.

For example, the Company servers are accessible only to authorized personnel and your information is shared with employees and authorized personnel on a “need to know basis”.

Our Platform has stringent security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of information under control. We endeavour to safeguard and ensure the security of the information provided by you. We use Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) based encryption, for the transmission of the information, which is currently the required level of encryption in India as per the law.

We blend security at multiple steps within our Platform with the state-of-the-art technology to ensure our systems maintain strong security measures and the overall data and privacy security design allow us to defend our systems ranging from low hanging issue up to sophisticated attacks.

Please note that we will not ask you to share any sensitive data or information such as account/login/passwords/financial information (bank details, OTPs etc) and other sensitive personal information via email/telephone/SMS/link. Please do not share such information to any person.

However, transacting over the internet has inherent risks which can only be avoided by you following security practices yourself, such as not revealing account/login/passwords/financial information such as bank details, OTPs and other sensitive personal information to any other person. In the event you suspect that your account/personal information has/may have been compromised or you receive any suspicious call, SMS, link, email requesting your sensitive personal information, you may reach out to our grievance redressal officer as per the details provided in this Privacy Policy.

Although the Company endeavours to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, transmissions made by means of the Internet cannot be made absolutely secure. By using the Platform, you agree that the Company will have no liability for disclosure of your information due to errors in transmission and/or unauthorized acts of third parties.
